Finding the right business to convey our business
We want to show our services to potential and current customers and to do that we sourced the photographic services of Cherry Beasley from Simply C Photography Cherry uses candid images to show the professional service we offer. With the finished images showing how easy it is to purchase carpets with us here at Archway.
We are not sending Christmas Cards this year. But we are sending our best wishes.
Here at Archway Carpets are not sending Christmas cards to their customers this year, they are donating that and a bit more to the Emmuas – Ipswich #Socks appeal for the Homeless of Ipswich. They will use the money to buy Socks and underwear for those that are in the Ipswich night shelter.
Warm your Home for Winter
Warm your home for Winter.
With the weather turning colder. It is the ideal time to introduce patterns and bolder colours to warm the home.
From outstanding Tartans to delicate pin dot designs. Also a wide selection of colours. The choice is yours.
An ideal Carpet for a home with pets.
With so many carpet designs and colours available it can be very confusing. That is where we at Archway Carpets come into our own. Having years of product knowledge and a passion to help our customers reach their own#fashionforyourfloor
Asking questions about who and how a room is used. Means you will have the best possible carpet for your requirements. There are carpet designs that are not suitable for a home with pets. So to have pets as happy as one of lovely customers cats enjoying the new carpets instead of their pet beds.
When a home has pets mainly cats or dogs. A twist is the carpet you need. We can look at a wool based twist to provide comfort and style. A twist is easy to hoover with pet hairs staying on the surface. Also the natural oils found in the wool add cleaning stains.

The Woodbridge Shuck 2016
There will be an evening dinner trial. Pop up restaurants. Along with riverside feasting for the weekend a delight for anyone wishing to visit Woodbridge over the Shuck weekend, Sept 30th Sept to Oct 2nd.
The team at Shuck 2016 have a great group of local businesses supporting the event. Simpers of Suffolk one of the founders of the event. Somerleyton Estate team's passion for the local food was shown as they are some of the Shuck founders.
With the guys at The Tea Hut, Adnams and Choose Woodbridge playing huge parts in the organising of the event.
A large part of the event is held around The Tide Mill with displays and dining taking place by the Mill. Other companies involved with the event are Infotex and The Crown Hotel in Woodbridge
So we have decided to take part in this event and are offering a promotion during September. Have a look at the offer and come along and see us.
Networking for better business
Well we all know that people buy people and in business this is true. Here at Archway Carpets we believe that networking with other Suffolk businesses mean better service for our customers. Whether we do business with "back office" suppliers or "front of house" companies that will improve your customer experience. Maybe it is neither and just a company we can refer to our customers.
At the end of July Darrell our Sales Director went to Coastal Connections, a evening networking group. Yes he did benefit from a meal from the team at The Meare Tearooms and Emmerdale Farm where the sausages were fantastic and all from Suffolk based Animals. The freshly carved ham was a beautiful colour and tasty.
Meeting with the providers of various services. Sam as ever the most talkative person you will meet, with a fountain of tech knowledge from Measured Brilliance, who provide our website services. The ever lovely Carol from Mad-HR who helps with all things staff and contract related. Jan, the most glamorous business lady in Woodbridge from The Bridge Marketing, connecting you with the right people. The teams from Durrants and Huntingfield Estates. Both Estate agents for all things house sales.
Not forgetting the team at Marshall Hatchick Solicitors that arrange the event but also provide all the things we need from solicitors. As a customer you may not ever need this other business but what will benefit you is the relationships built and the skills gained by dealing with other professional local businesses. All this means just great #fashionforyourfloor
Exciting time for Woodbridge.
For many years two areas of Woodbridge have been awaiting re-development. This year work has started on the Whisstocks boat yard and Nunn's Mill areas of the town.
The new developments will create areas for work, relaxation and living. Along with these areas a new home for the Woodbridge Museum and a fantastic new "Long Shed"
The "Long Shed" will be home to a unique project to house the building of actual replica of the Sutton Hoo Long Boat.
These projects and buildings are due for completion in 2017.
